When I first heard about ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’, like everyone else I was willing to dismiss it as just another kid’s Netflix film. However, judging by the word of mouth I was hearing for a week I decided to give it a chance.

The story follows K-Pop girl group Huntr/x and they protect the world from demons. As their tour draws to a close, a new threat in the form of a demon boy band rises.

What can I say about this film that hasn’t already been said since last summer? It’s a fantastic film and probably the best none Disney animated film that’s not an anime that I’ve seen in a very long time. In other words…this is what Disney should be doing.

Everything about it is excellent. Especially the award-winning soundtrack that has been played countless times over the past several months (my favourites are, of course, ‘Golden’ and ‘Your Idol’). Even people who normally wouldn’t watch something like this have praised it and the soundtrack.

It has even had a couple of theatrical releases despite it being a Netflix property.

If you are a fan of K-Pop, animation and musicals I 100% recommend this film.
