Most people seem to have forgotten that ‘Tangled’ existed after ‘Frozen’ came out in 2013. Which is sad because- as much as I like ‘Frozen’- I personally think ‘Tangled’ had a better storyline than ‘Frozen’ did.

This was basically Disney’s take on the German fairytale ‘Rapunzel’ by the Brothers Grim. ‘Tangled’ follows Rapunzel- a lively girl with very long hair- as she goes on a adventure to see what she calls “The floating lights” which are actually lanterns that appear on her birthday.

As I said before, I actually preferred ‘Tangled’ story-wise in comparison to ‘Frozen’ even though I equally enjoy both films. The soundtrack by then Disney favourite Alan Menken is also a joy to listen to, including pop-star Mandy Moore as the voice of Rapunzel herself.

Over all, enjoy a visually stunning and beautiful film that has mostly been swept aside by current day Disney.
